QUARTER 2 SUMMARY AND FUND PERFORMANCE

During Q2 of this year, New Frontiers was delighted to make its first acquisition on behalf of investors and purchased a stake in the Santa Marta project at Alcoutim, near the border with Spain.

Santa Marta has been on our radar for a while. It now looks likely to receive environmental waivers for both wind and solar energy, with the ability to host up to 19 wind turbines (as well as solar panels), effectively doubling the output capacity of the site (if simply hosting solar).

This news will already have had a positive impact on the value of New Frontiers’ shares in the project (although these profits have yet to be realised). Noel and the team have another 4-5 good quality projects on the Acordo list in their sites to deploy monies into as and when suitable. Money flows to the fund remain healthy, consistent and from investors all over the world. We will be back early October to update you all on activities during quarter three of this year.
